Selsey Model Boat Club
Eligibility of Boats.
The club member who is entering the boat must own it.
The boat does not need to have been built by the current owner.
The boat can be a kit boat or a scratch built boat.
Any type of watercraft that is capable of being sailed on the pond, powered by wind or electric motor can be entered.
Boats that are in the process of being built by the entrant can be entered.
Last years winning boat cannot be entered in any subsequent model of the year competitions.

Open to all club members.
The Boat being entered must have been fully built (100%) by the entrant and can be either scratch built or built from a kit.
The boat must be complete and fit for sailing on the pond and fitted with all control gear and radio control equipment.
Static display models will be excluded.
The judges will be two non-participating club members.
A written description of the craft and details and photos of construction may be placed adjacent to the craft being entered.
Previous winning boats will be excluded.
The judges will be asked to make their decision based on:

Finish
General Construction
Additional working parts
Scale accuracy
Authenticity of build.

The judge’s decision is final.
